Forestry Mulching
Using our main mulching unit, we can selectively clear unwanted trees and underbrush to open up your land, making it useable and easily maintainable again. Some of the purposes of forestry mulching are to remove unwanted underbrush allowing valuable trees healthy growth, clearing for new fence rows or right of ways, and fuel reduction on forest lands just to name a few. With our excavator mounted mulching head we can clean up those old pond banks, creek banks, ditch lines, and fence rows to make them beautiful once again. Once mulching is completed the fine wood mulch product left behind can suppress weed growth before slowly decomposing, returning organic material and nutrients to the soil for other plants to use.
Land Clearing
We also offer traditional land clearing techniques including digging stumps using an excavator and using a root rake on a dozer and skid steer to grub all underground biomass. These techniques are required where driveway and building foundations will be placed but are optional in other areas.
